We are a group of 27 teens and chaperones from the Deep River Congregational Church in Deep River, Connecticut. We are going down to New Orleans, Louisiana to help rebuild homes that were devastated during Hurricane Katrina. We have worked very hard to prepare for the trip and we can't wait to see what kind of work God has for us! We hope we can make a difference in the lives of victims who are still suffering 4 years after the hurricane.

ReplyDeleteThe weather says you have a lot of humidity but lower temps than the past few weeks. Hope that is true and that you had a great first day building up, tearing down or whatever else was on the TO DO list.
